UK Sales Manager (Pumps - Food, Water, Hygiene, Process, Oil etc)







This new UK Sales Managers opportunity has been created with this division of a market leading manufacturer of Pumps and associated equipment, due to a number of Internal Promotions and will report in to the Previous UK Sales Manager. You will be responsible for managing 4 experienced Internal and External Sales Engineers as well as also being responsible for selling new pumps and pumping systems to existing key accounts.



Our client is a market leading manufacturers a wide range of Pumps and Pumping Systems (Peristaltic Pumps, Tube, Hose, Diaphragm, Progressive Cavity, Dosing, Laboratory, Piston, Mixers & associated Process Pumps) and engineering products and solutions for a variety of applications that include the Food, Beverage, Hygiene, Clean Water, Waste Water, Sewage, Slurry, Dewatering, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Process, Industrial, Refinery, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine, Dairy, Bakeries, Fruits, Vegetables, Meat, Pet Food, Ingredients, Personal Care, Fertilizers, Salt, Power, Energy, Marine Metals, Steel, Mining, Quarrying, Material Handling, Pulp & Paper, Utilities, etc. This is a very stable division and has seen significant growth in the last few years so prospects for development are excellent.



The role requires an individual to take full responsibility for the sales of this division and be responsible for managing 4 experienced Internal and External Sales Engineers as well as also being responsible for selling new pumps and pumping systems to existing key accounts. There is a lot of flexibility on geographical area as the existing Sales Engineers and very experienced and don't need a lot of man management and therefore you do not need to be in the office that often, and I would imagine that most of the time will be spent externally visiting and developing clients. The role will involve selling to OEM's, End Users and Distributors.



The Sales Managers roles require individuals who can take an excellent range of pumps and carrying on developing the pump side of the business. Direct Man Management experience would obviously help, but because they will be managing an experienced team they are very open at looking at an existing Area Sales Manager who wants to take the step in to a management position. It is important that individuals have experience of selling pumps experience in to any of any of the above or associated markets. The individuals should be able to build up relations with different levels of customers i.e. engineers, consultants, owners through to director levels and be able to work with a develop distributors
